BOSTON The Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston has announced
that Ellen McLaughlin has been named senior vice president,
general counsel. Ms. McLaughlin succeeds Gerard Champagne,
who retired after 20 years of service to the bank.
Ms. McLaughlin came to the bank in 1990 as senior attorney.
She was promoted to legal officer in 1994, assistant vice
president in 1996, associate general counsel in 1997, and
vice president, associate general counsel in 2000. Before
joining the bank, Ms. McLaughlin was a staff attorney at H.
P. Hood, Inc., in Boston, and TAD Technical Services Corporation
in Cambridge. She earned her J.D. Law degree from Suffolk
University Law School and her L.L.M. in banking law studies
from Boston University School of Law. She is a member of the
Massachusetts Bar.
