The Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston's Web site features a new Profiles section that provides an in-depth look at initiatives funded by the Bank's Affordable Housing Program and Community Development advances.
Each month, a multimedia documentary on a selected development from one of the six New England states will be added to the series. The profiles use text, photographs, audio and video clips, and the words of bankers, developers, residents, and community stakeholders to tell the stories of these initiatives.
To view the site in its entirety, viewers must have the Macromedia Flash Player and the Real Networks RealOne Player installed in their computers.
The Profiles section launched in July with portraits of initiatives in Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. It can be accessed from the Bank's home page under "A Closer Look at Community Lending," as well as in the Housing & Economic Growth section.
