Congressman
Michael E. Capuano (D-MA) helped the Federal Home Loan Bank
of Boston (the Bank) commemorate the first 15 years of the
Affordable Housing Program in September. The eighth district
represented by Congressman Capuano has won numerous AHP awards,
with initiatives in Chelsea, Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston.

neXus Center The Green Roundtable’s neXus Center, the nation’s first
full-immersion green-building experience, opened in Boston in January. This one-stop
resource center brings together educational exhibits, a year-round tradeshow
space, full resource and sample library, and a team of experts to provide guidance
on green-building issues. Supported by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (the
Bank), the neXus Center is located at 38 Chauncy Street, seventh floor, in downtown

A Plan for Greater Boston Metro Boston residents are invited to a Boston College
Citizens Seminar on the MetroFuture project on Tuesday, May 1, at Boston College.
The Metropolitan Area Planning Council’s MetroFuture project is developing
a plan for the growth and development of 101 cities and towns across the region.
Seminar participants will develop action steps for MetroFuture’s 2030 plan.
