Assessing AHP Priorities and
Scoring for 2021 and the Future
Rebranded_JNE_Email_Image650px.png

FHLBank Boston is assessing the program priorities and, specifically, the scoring framework for the competitive Affordable Housing Program (AHP).

Your feedback is critical. Please join FHLBank Boston and our Advisory Council for a focused working group and luncheon to assess the AHP's priorities and reshape the scoring framework used to award funding. Register now as space will be limited to 50 attendees.

We need to hear from you in early 2020 so that we can prioritize our program implementation for the 2021 AHP funding program.

AHP has succeeded as a flexible source of development capital because of our partnerships with members, housing developers, and public funders. From 1990 to 2018, AHP has provided $600 million in advances, grants, and subsidies assisting over 32,300 affordable homes.

Discussion questions include:

  • What are the current and changing housing needs in your community?
  • What feedback can you offer on the AHP's current scoring framework and how it should be changed for the future?
  • How should the AHP and housing investment facilitate economic development, community revitalization, health, and climate resiliency?
  • Do you have any other concerns or observations?
