How is my borrowing capacity calculated?
Total borrowings from from the Bank, including a member's unused IDEAL Way line of credit, should not exceed the value of a member's qualified collateral that has not been pledged to outside sources. Please refer to the Borrowing Capacity section of the Products Policy

How do I set up or increase my IDEAL Way line of credit?
The Bank typically approves IDEAL Way lines of credit equal to two percent of a member's assets. To request set up or increase, please contact the Money Desk at moneydesk@fhlbboston.com or 1-800-357-3452. Requests for IDEAL Way lines of credit in excess of two percent of a member's assets must be submitted in writing.
