​Ed Schultze

With a close eye on managing risk and retaining FHLBank Boston’s position of stability and strength, Ed oversees Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), a team that includes Credit and Collateral, Market Risk, Model Validation, Operational Risk Management, and Risk Analytics.

Ed previously served as first vice president, director of market risk management in ERM, after being promoted from the role of vice president, director of capital market risks which he assumed when he joined us in 2010.

He began his financial services career in 1983 and has held various roles at Guaranty Bank, Firstfed America Bancorp, and First Institutional Liquidity Corp. 

Appreciated for his keen analytical skills, Ed earned an MBA in finance from the University of North Texas.

Ed, a native of Dallas, is a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, and with two children in college, has gained a true appreciation for living on a tight budget.
