Equity Builder Program (EBP)

Disaster Relief Program

Uses

Mortgage assistance for homeowners and small businesses, including principal, interest, and taxes for properties in New England impacted by a state or federally declared disaster

Beneficiaries

  • Homeowners earning up to 100% of area median income who own a primary residence in the declared disaster area
  • Small businesses that meet the federal definition under 15 U.S.C. 632(a) and 13 CFR part 121
  • Eligible properties must be located in a declared disaster area within New England and have a mortgage held or serviced by an FHLBank Boston member

Funding

Grants of up to $15,000 per household or business for mortgage assistance, covering up to six months. Minimum grant amount: $5.000

Availability

Applications are required annually and may be submitted at any time throughout the year. Homebuyer and small business enrollments must be completed within 30 days of program funding notification.

Grants to member institutions for distribution to nonprofit organizations

Nonprofits selected by member institutions
