We host mandatory training sessions* to help you step-by-step with the application, enrollment, loan origination, and disbursement process. Below are training sessions with details about our three homeownership assistance programs, Equity Builder Program (EBP), Housing Our Workforce (HOW), and Lift Up Homeownership.

Application
This virtual training outlines the program requirements and how to apply for EBP, HOW, or Lift Up Homeownership. The session takes place Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Learn more and register here.
Loan Officers Only – DPA Program 101
Learn how to navigate the down-payment assistance and homebuyer reservation process. The session also includes key tips and best practices for loan officers supporting borrowers with grant qualifications and expectations. The session takes place Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Enrolling Homebuyers
Learn program guidelines and step-by-step online data entry procedures to enroll homebuyers through this webinar. Members can choose one of two sessions on Thursday, March 5, 2026 or Wednesday, March 18, 2026. See the events section for registration.

Scheduled trainings
Online training courses are held in the first months of each year. Visit here for the full annual training schedule. Starting in 2026, all member staff using EBP must complete training.

Office Hours
FHLBank Boston will offer office hours in 2026 giving members an opportunity to ask questions and enabling the HCI team to provide technical assistance before and during the grant reservation and enrollment launch. Stay tuned for more information.
*Members participating in our homeownership assistance programs are required to certify that appropriate staff have either attended the training sessions or have completed the pre-recorded versions.
