Caroline Casavant

After nearly a decade of experience working in financial markets, Caroline joined FHLBank Boston as a senior financial strategist.

Before joining FHLBank Boston, Caroline was vice president and fixed income analyst at Wellington Management, where she was a leader on macro strategy for the broad markets team, which oversaw assets exceeding $70 billion. Her prior roles included assistant vice president and investment specialist in fixed income product management. At Wellington Management, she was recognized for her thought leadership in macroeconomics and publishing market insights.

Prior to her time at Wellington, she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a policy and markets analysis associate. In this role, she gained foundational experience in financial markets and macroeconomic policy, contributing to research and analysis that informed monetary policy decisions.

Caroline graduated with an MBA in finance and economics from the NYU Stern School of Business, where she was a Berkley Scholar, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, having completed the politics honors program as a Jefferson Scholar at the University of Virginia.

When she is not busy helping members, Caroline spends her time writing very bad short stories and perfecting ice cream recipes.
