Careers at FHLBank Boston

Employees like Clyde Love, risk analyst, model risk management, and Shirley Seraphin, assistant vice president, manager of financial instrument accounting, spent a steamy summer day volunteering for a Habitat for Humanity build project in Boston.

As part of Disability Pride Month, employees were able to experience what it's like for people with differing abilities to navigate digital experiences using various technology tools through an Empathy Lab, which was organized by our Inclusion Council.

Members of FHLBank Boston’s executive leadership team have a chance to showcase their culinary skills when they host an annual breakfast for employees. Ana Dyer, senior vice president, chief business officer, made some healthy smoothies.

Employees volunteered to sort clothing donations for Catie's Closet, which provides clothing, toiletries, and other necessities to students living in poverty. Group volunteer opportunities are offered throughout the year. Employees particularly enjoy packing donated food for the United Way’s Annual Thanksgiving Project in November. Pictured is Kristin Naylor, principal information security governance analyst. 

FHLBank Boston hosts member events, enabling staff to engage with members. Employees attended the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s Annual Women and Allies in Banking Conference. Frank Nitkiewicz, chief operating officer and chief financial officer, and Paresh Fondeker, vice president, director of portfolio risk and quantitative analysis, volunteered to teach computer skills to clients of New Beginnings Reentry Services, which provides support services to women who were previously incarcerated.

FHLBank Boston employees planted 300 daffodils on the Esplanade and cleared debris and garbage along the Charles River as part of the "Invest in Our Planet" efforts.
