As a housing and community investment analyst, Jack reviews initiatives that are funded through our affordable housing and community development programs to ensure they comply with federal regulations, program polices, and procedures.

When Jack was an undergraduate student, he focused his studies on economics and urban issues and quickly developed an interest in housing economics. During these studies, he had an opportunity to complete a research report and econometric analysis on the effects of zoning regulations on housing costs. From that moment, he knew he wanted to further pursue his interest in community development.

As a graduate student at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, he collaborated with a peer group to present an economic development proposal to Worcester Common Ground, a community development corporation that was founded in response to concerns about high housing costs, the displacement of families from their homes, and absentee ownership of land and property in an underserved central Worcester neighborhood. This experience is being put to good use as he supports FHLBank Boston’s housing and community investment team.

In 2021, Jack earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at Clark University, where he later earned a master’s degree in community development and planning.

An animal lover, Jack has volunteered to improve the lives of furry friends at a local animal shelter. When he’s not focused on work or volunteering, Jack enjoys watching boxing matches and cheering on his favorite basketball teams, the Boston Celtics and Indiana Fever.
