As a relationship manager, Steve is responsible for coordinating all sales and client service efforts for member financial institutions in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont with an emphasis on assisting our members with asset and liability management strategy, interest-rate and credit-risk hedging, and lending and deposit plans.
Steve joined FHLBank Boston in 2013 and has wide-ranging experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining us, Steve spent seven years in commercial real estate — first, as an as an account manager at Cummings Properties, LLC., then as an asset manager specializing in Low Income Housing Tax Credit portfolios at Boston Capital. Steve also served as an institutional client service manager, focused on equity and fixed-income portfolio relationships at Deutsche Asset Management, formerly Scudder, Stevens & Clark, Inc., and has experience in residential lending and mortgage underwriting.
Steve holds an MBA from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Northeastern University. He has also received certificates in Banking from the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania and the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Steve lives in Beverly, Massachusetts with his wife Julie and their two children Hannah and Sean.
